Funding

Core funding for the first years of EWPPP operations were provided by grants from the European Cultural Foundation (NL) and the Ford Foundation (US). Since 2000, the top four sources of income for EWPPP programmes have included:

  • The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs
  • The European Commission (within the framework of the European Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights)
  • The European Cultural Foundation
  • The Charles Stewart Mott Foundation
